Doug has been licensed to practice law in Washington since 1978. After serving in the U.S. Army in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps from 1978-1984, and then as a civil service attorney for the Army from 1984-1988, he has been in private practice in Washington since 1988. He has been defending traffic infractions since 1991. Since 1997, defending traffic tickets has been his only area of private practice. Since 2000, when he moved his office to its current site in Lakewood, he has personally defended tens of thousands of traffic defendants in court.
